PinPop Community Guidelines

PinPop exists so riders and friends can find each other, talk, and meet up in the real world. That only works if the map, the channels, and the calls stay safe. These Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service and apply to everything you do on PinPop: profiles, messages, group channels, voice calls, photos, videos, and public posts.

The rules

Be who you say you are. No impersonating people, brands, or PinPop staff. No fake or misleading profiles. One account per person, and every account belongs to a real adult (18+).

No harassment or threats. No bullying, intimidation, threats of violence, or encouragement of self-harm. No hate speech: attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics has no place here.

Respect the map. Location is PinPop's core, and misusing it is the fastest way to lose your account:

  • Do not use PinPop to stalk, follow, or monitor anyone. Unwanted tracking is grounds for an immediate permanent ban and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement.
  • Do not share another person's location, home address, or identifying details, on or off PinPop, without their consent (no doxxing).
  • Do not spoof, falsify, or manipulate your location.
  • Location sharing is a two-way choice between friends. Do not pressure anyone to share theirs.

Keep calls and channels decent. The rules apply to live voice the same as to text. No harassment, threats, or hate on calls. Do not record calls: PinPop does not record them, and recording other participants without consent may be illegal where you or they live.

No sexual exploitation. Zero tolerance. No sexual content involving minors, ever, in any form; we remove it, ban the account, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement. No non-consensual intimate imagery. No sexual harassment.

Nothing illegal. Do not use PinPop to commit, promote, or organize crimes, including street racing or other illegal riding events, sales of illegal goods, or fraud. Ride legal, post legal.

Ride responsibly. We do not condone reckless riding, excessive speeding, or stunting on public roads, on or off PinPop. Journey stats and leaderboards are for comparing rides, not for chasing a number at the expense of your safety or anyone else's. Reports of reckless or dangerous riding are reviewed like any other report, and we may suspend or permanently ban accounts for it.

No graphic violence or gore. Do not post content that glorifies violence or depicts gratuitous gore.

No spam or scams. No phishing, pyramid schemes, bulk unsolicited messages, malicious links, or artificial engagement.

Public content must be safe for everyone. Public posts (place photos, route pictures, profile pictures) are screened before publication. Keep them free of nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, and the other things this page prohibits.

Reporting and blocking

  • Report users for spam, harassment, abusive messages or calls, reckless or dangerous riding, or other violations by opening their profile and choosing Report user. Describe what happened and, if you choose, attach screenshots or other supporting evidence. Submitting a user report sends us the reported account, your description, and any evidence you attach; it does not automatically include your conversation history. You can also report public content using its report action. Reports are confidential, except where we must disclose them to law enforcement or under legal process, and we review them promptly.
  • Block anyone, from their profile or from any conversation. Blocking stays in effect until you unblock them. You no longer see each other's live location, and notifications from the blocked user are suppressed. Blocking does not remove either person from shared group channels, where messages and calls remain possible. You can leave a shared channel in one tap.
  • In an emergency or if you are in danger, contact 911 first.

Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban. Some violations (child exploitation, credible threats, stalking) skip straight to permanent ban. We keep records of enforcement actions, including after account deletion, so bans stick. If you think we got it wrong, appeal by contacting support@pinpop.app; a human will review it.

These Guidelines evolve as PinPop does. Material changes will be announced in the app.
